As part of our 5th birthday celebrations, we're celebrating the shop and
Llandeilo's past with these two exclusive artisan candles made locally in
collaboration with Vicky from 'Little Bit Different'.
These eco friendly, vegan, and organic soy wax candles are something special!
The burn time for these 0.3l candles is approximately 40 – 45 hours. We
recommend that soy candles are burnt for a maximum of 4 hours in one duration
to prolong the burn times.
We have two different fragrance options for you!
Tobacconist : Cuban Tobacco & Oak
A nod back to the time when the shop was a Tobacconist run by our
grandparents - dating back to 1905! The aromatic vintage cologne notes lead
into a heart of rich sweet tobacco, warm spices & a hint of cognac. Smokey
woods of oak, ebony & incense combine with dark musks to complete the fragrance.
Llandilo : Leather, Mead & Honey
Nope it's not a spelling mistake! Llandeilo was spelt 'Llandilo' for
centuries until it changed to Llandeilo by royal decree, making it alot more
apparent that it's named after St. Teilo. This candle is a nod back to that
bygone era. We've licensed the image on the candle from the D.C. Harries
collection, who was a photographer in Llandilo and had premises on the same
street as our shop.
